A Table for the Future with André Dua and Ken Griffin

Inside the 5th Annual CEO Dinner on the Future of Miami & Florida at the Rubell Museum

On October 7, 2026, the Rubell Museum hosted a gathering that felt especially timely for Miami. Just one week earlier, Ken Griffin had announced a historic $3 billion commitment to Carnegie Mellon University, including $2 billion to establish a new campus in Wynwood. For a city looking toward its next chapter in education, technology, and innovation, the news gave the evening a remarkable sense of occasion.

Hosted by André Dua of McKinsey & Company and Ken Griffin of Citadel, the 5th Annual CEO Dinner on the Future of Miami & Florida brought together an exceptional group of business, philanthropic, and civic leaders. André moderated a conversation between Ken and Carnegie Mellon University President Farnam Jahanian about the planned Miami campus and the possibilities it presents for the region.

An extraordinary room, thoughtfully hosted

The gathering included figures whose work spans finance, development, culture, hospitality, and civic leadership—from Stephen M. Ross, Josh Harris, and Barry Sternlicht to Mera Rubell, Jessica Goldman Srebnick, Tere Blanca, Al Dotson, José R. Mas, and Damola Adamolekun, among many others.

Luxe Fête was entrusted with the evening’s creative direction, design, and executive production.

For Luxe Fête, executive production is the work of making complex decisions feel invisible. The creative concept must be strong, but so must the planning, fabrication, coordination, and execution that bring it to life.
