Carmencita and Augustin Wedding in Port Antonio, Jamaica
This is one of those destination weddings where you know this group of people will gather again to relive the magic of the moments shared (a part two is in the works already). Port Antonio is one of the most special places in the world. It’s the only place that could have been the wedding location for Carmencita and Augustin, a striking couple who understand the art of living.
The bride is a successful fashion designer and created her own stunning dress. (Of Whonder). Her custom dress is Parisien lace, hand beaded in India. The groom wore custom Tom Ford. Port Antonio, Jamaica, is a secret hideaway for many jet set and celebrity because of its authenticity and charm. Many musicians have recorded music at the castle and/or stayed at sister properties where our guests stayed (GeeJam, Trident Hotel) including Beyonce, Katie Perry, Snoop Dog, Arcade Fire. This rustic seaside glamour town, and in the past was frequented by Errol Flynn, Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Super charming and on constant lists of “Must Visit.” Some other fun facts about this wedding: (1) The couple commissioned custom wedding bands from Cartier in Paris; (2) Trident castle is the only castle in Jamaica; (3) the destination wedding weekend included a graceful raft ride down the Rio Grande. We love creating experiences and this is one that guests are still reminiscing on; and lastly everyone went bananas when we brought out to the stage, none other than a surprise performance by international reggae artist Freddie McGreggor.

Last month at @vizcaya_museum, we produced the 4th Annual “Future of Miami & Florida” CEO Dinner — co-hosted by Andre Dua, @McKinseyCo Senior Partner, and Ken Griffin, CEO of @Citadel — bringing together more than 50 of Florida’s most influential leaders who have helped shape Miami’s remarkable transformation.

• Developing advanced mobility systems that allow travel anywhere in Miami-Dade in under an hour
We transformed Vizcaya Museum & Gardens into an environment built for conversation: where design, hospitality, and strategy worked in quiet harmony.
